Sawadikaaaa!!! (hello for the less cultured)
Well we have had an eventful 2 days ... yesterday we woke at the crack of dawn (mainly to get stuff done and partially to annoy our German friend who also turned out to like being naked in the hostel and didnt seem to like Sinead but was happy to have a converssation with Rosie minus her bra, we are now cultured enough not to giggle until they leave the room) and we set off to the petronas towers which were actually pretty good and we went up on the skybridge to view KL, then we had the weirdest breakfast ever and hit the train station to get our thai tickets.
Continuing we monorailed (oooeerr just for Rosies dad) to the lake gardens where we strolled and enjoyed the nice parks in the city, then we wnt bk bukit bintang for some shopping (for a new rucksack for sinead cause that zip did indeed break darn) then back to our hostel to pack and au revoir malaysia we got on the long train to Thailand. 12 hours was actually 18 and we didnt have beds just cheap seats for us but we survived just.
Hello Thailand, Han Yai, actual joke, we were told that from here we'd get a bus to Phuket our destination, what wasnt said was the bus ride was 8 hours, so we went for the nearer town of Krabi which was supposed to be 2 hours but was actually 4 and a half. We had to wait a while in Han Yai and found a nice little coffee shop which was playing music and lyric tunes WOW (find a way back into love!) Then we went bk to the bus station and boarded our nice mimibus but later we got literally thrown off the minibus by the driver in the middle of a weird town, bad times, but we managed to find a rude boy taxi driver (actually subwoofer tokoyo drift styler, blacked out windows, tv witrh dancers in hotpants dancing to a remix of she will be loved hahahaha) but we are here now at Krabi beach and its fantastic actually like the picture above yay :D
A sad story follows ours, that of Rosies blisters, bad times. IN KL they were quite bad and when we went to the Lake Gardens we discovered flies had taken a like to them and she was swarmed :( we had nothing but lip balm to our defence tehn we tried all the bits of our first aid jkit to what we thought was a minor sucess then today she has a foot the size of a melon and we had to trek/hobble the whole length of Krabi beach to the pharmacy to avoid amputation
Now this is very long so for the next few days we intend to rest on a nice tropical, 34 degree sandy clear water unspoilt beach to get over it!
Lots and lots of love Sinead and Rosie :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
