I SAW MY FIRST ELEPHANT!!!! so... i am still traveling round with the hotel owner though he will be returning to varanasi soon so my luxery section will soon be over. we went by car (with a driver) from Delhi to Jaipur whcih is in Rajestan. it took us about 5 hours, we arrived at just after lunch. jaipur is an amazing city in 2 parts, the newer and the old - the old city is a walled one and all the buildings within the walls are painted a lovely salmon pin...

Here i am in Delhi! got the night train from varanasi, i traveled here with the hotel owner (Chiku) which was interesting... the train arrived at 7 in the morning (i had to be woken up!) i have been waking up quite early but there were 6 (7 or 8) people in our section and three of the guys seemed to enter into a snoring competition thus keeping me awake most of the night untill they all started waking up whcih is when i slept but we arrived so no sleep for me....

So here i am in varanasi - i ahve bene here a while now and thoroughly enjoying it! the average day goes something like this:- 4:30 the fans start working again as the electricity has just comeback on 6am wake up - say good mornign to the gecko or house lizard which resides in my room 6:10 head for the shower and get dressed 6:45 set off for yoga! 7-9 yoga lesson where i sweat buckets and leave rosemary shaped wet patches on the mats - at least i am no...

The trip so far... I have been having a few problems with the internet loosing connection when I had finished writing a page for the diary so I have decided not to do a daily update as I seem to be spending increased amounts of time on the internet and getting nowhere. So from now on this will be a weekly update of what is happening - that way I still have a few stories to tell when I get back! So I guess I left off in Agra - not the best city to just wan...
