After discussions last night and Jackie being so fair, we decided not to do the beach again, so scanned the local magazine to see what we could come up with to do and we came up with Alaoir market, thankfully it's not fish and vegetables.
Caught the 11.05 bus and when arriving into the town we could see the market down one of the main streets, however, after arriving in the bus station and circum navigating the entire village of Alaoir we eventually found the market - all 6 stalls of it but this didn't deter us as we still bought plenty of things.
Had a nice coffee in one of the local sqaures as we had already found 3 of them, tried the chuch but no candles at all, plastic or otherwise. Think we should give this up as a bad idea, we are sure our husbands will know we have tried.
Gave ourselves half an hour to find the bus station and found it was only 2 streets away but this after we had walked around the other side of the village, which is the equivalent of walking up and down the M25.
Got back to the hotel and had a little siesta in our room as we were going to see our Burger King rep tonight.
7.30 promptly we went into reception to find our rep lounging, we are not really sure what she is repping but it isn't Thomas Cook because she really wasn't interested and gave us a complaints form should we wish to fill it in. We behaved impecably and didn't rip her head of her shoulders, needless to say we will fill the form in and we doubt if our rep wins the resort rep of the year - bless her cotton socks.
Went into the dinning room for evening meal and I'm sure someone is trying to poison me cos tonight I found 2 raw prawns in the salad, I was just about to take a photo of it when the waitress wipped the plate away. I can now understand why Jackie doesn't like salad, who says it's good for you !! plus we really weren't overly hungry as we had had menu del dia in Alaoir and one plate could've fed us both, but being true Yorkshire women we had paid for it so we were gonna eat it.
As it's our last evening here we decided that it would only be fit to take a short walk to Es Pins and finish the holiday off in style.
Our cases are packed and our breakfast is booked for 6.30am as we leave the hotel at 7.15 for our early morning flight back to sunny England.
Hope you have enjoyed our holiday as much as we have. XX
