Arrived at airport back from the hotel. Refreshed and ready to go. I met up with the African Impact guy and had to wait a couple of hours for a few more to arrive. Got chatting to a few people. Everyone was very friendly felt at home straight away.
The drive took about 3 hours, i took the front seat so was very comfy. stopped half way to get drinks etc. first animal we saw was a monkey which we narrowly avoided as it crossed a road equivalent to a motor way. More animals were seen on the way into the reserve such as giraffe and zebra.
Rooming with a guy called Will from Australia. Cabins are pretty basic and very comfy so no complaints, food is standard. tried some south african food... stay clear of Pap, not great.
