Hi everyone! This will be the trip to remeber...or maybe forget!! It is very consuming. We don't even know what day it is...but then what does it matter!!??
We are in Nairobi and are happy to have a few days off...not really...while we are here we have mechanical work to do and a car show to go to on Sunday. Anyway..we have internet so I'm trying to give you a quick view of what's happening. It has been wonderful and excitin, but very tiring. We almost gave up the other day as we had a long drive and in the middle of it came across an accident, a lady was in very bad shape and we were asked to take he to the clinic up the road. We cleaned a space in the back and off we went, not knowing where the help would be!!! About 26 km up the road we found a clinic and handed her over to the doctors there and they assured us she'd be fine. It was a little overwhelming to say the least, we were ready to throw in the towel....but we recovered.
We have had some fabulous days of game viewing, see photos in album. The people here have been so nice and happy that we came to see their country. We even recieved a bottle of wine & a crocodile from a gas station owner, he was so proud to be of service.
We are going to have to hit the treadmill once back home, all the food and sittting all day is too much!!
The next bit of the trip gets further into Africa and I suspect that the internet will be next to nil but we will post when we can! We will celebrate once in Egypt that's for sure. Wendy
Ron may post more, he is out doing maintainence on the VW, she's been a dream!!

David Wow. Can't wait to get the details on ALL these stories! Sounds amazing. David
Judy Thanks for letting us share you experience. That must have been a pretty intense ride to the clinic and I'm glad for you that it seems like it was all worthwhile! Volkswagens are good for a lot of things! My love to you both, Judy
