KHMER NEW YEAR
HAPPY SONGKRAN

Welcome the main three days of Songkran, Thai New Year which is also celebrated by Cambodia, Burma and Laos.
Basically three days of water and baby powder fights. The first day I spent at Sessions having water fights with the kids on the beach and the people in the bar. Dave put me in the ice box and tipped a full carton of pineapple juice all over me. Lovely. Had an awesome night at JJs, me, Alin and Villi on top of the beer pong table all night will a hose and buckets, soaking everything and everyone. Loads of fun. The bar was like a swimming pool, it escalated very quickly, throwing beer in Minea's face :)))
Next day we spent at JJ's, they did a big party on the beach. 4 towers of beer on the table which were constantly getting re filled, dancing around the table in sure Cambodian style, and more water fights. The cook was hiding in the kitchen and I managed to grab her out and soaked her. It got to 7pm and Johny decided all the staff were getting a bit too drunk so no more beer. Marcia, Glenne, Big Pros and I all went for a swim in the sea. Me still in my life jacket that id been wearing all day. Managed to dunk Pros a few times, I was pretty safe in my life jacket :) another crazy night on the beach involving more water fights and powder. Although had some powder in my eye at Nap House which really hurt and I couldn't see for a while.
The next day I didn't wake up till 5pm and I was seriously ill. Managed to get over to Monkey to try to eat, but failed and had to go back to bed. But Marcia stayed out with Villi so I didn't feel too guilty.
I will defiantly be coming back for New Year next year, although I may try Thailand as its even more crazy there.
