After very emotional goodbyes, 26 hours travelling, a punch up on the plane (not involving me), a delayed flight and a scary ass car trip from Mumbai to Goa, I am finally here. Just woke up from a 16 hour sleep. Traveling sure does take it out of you!
I have spent this afternoon laying by the pool trying to catch some sun through the palm trees. Never wanted to chop down a tree so much! Stupid Palm tree shade!
One of the guys in my dorm room 'attempted' to teach me how to ride a moped after lunch. It's not as easy as it looks. After a 20 minute lesson I'm still s***!
Having a much needed rest day before heading to the beach tomorrow.
A few things I have learnt so far in my 24 hours in India -
1- People here do not queue they push past you.
2- when you shout at the people for pushing you, everyone shouts at you for shouting at them. Louder than you shouted.
3- there is no wifi. It's always 'temporary down being replaced with faster connection'
4- seat belts? What seat belts! They even remove them from the cars. Why? Also, they are crazy drivers!
5- I can not drive mopeds. Tricky tricky
6- the food is boom! Like really amazingly boom! (Yes I still use the word boom)
Peace out
