From these many miles away from you on the AT, in a office building on a dark and rainy afternoon I send my greetings and my encouragement. You are living my dream and I'm sure those of many others. Do your best, one step at a time..it's the only way any of us gets anything done.
M. Carson Reehling, Sister Of J Carson
I did a paper on the AT for graduate school (a long time ago). I was a recreation major. I wish you the best and encourage you to finish. Someday you will look back on this and it will be all worth it. God sees the complete picture, while we only see a very small part. Bless you and protect you as you travel.

Mary Ann told me of your AT adventure. Just remember, when the going gets tough, the tough get a half-gallon of ice cream.

I liked your mapping viedo ...How you got from here to there. Simple but breath taking . Not much longer on this one just a awesome journey. Keep sharing whats in front of you. Hotter then anything in SC, but the boat rides keep it liveable. Fishing not to bad either...Drop you a line later my friend. jo

You guys are hustling now! The great Empire state, my old stomping grounds...upstate that is (lol). Enjoy the culture of the city life, just dont bring any home with ya. hahaha. I see by the map you'll be passing right thru Stratton Mt. V.T. in the Green Mt. National Forest. I did a co-op there at a ski resort back in college years. Beautiful place-big ditches!!! Enjoying the ride along with you. Stay safe. DDA
