We rounded up our final couple of days in HK experiencing the delights of the local transport ....
Star Ferry over to HK island = 20 pence
Tram ride (double decker). = 10 pence
These carry a daily average of 230,000 passengers .... (I now know how a sardine feels)!!!
Finally we jumped on the metro to take us back to Kawloon ... Is there no end to David's flamboyancy for luxury travel?
Our next mission was set to find a looky likey mulberry purse in the "ladies market". This was definitely mission impossible.... Plenty of nothing likey purses & bags unless plastic is mulberrys new designer range..mission aborted ... Sorry Siobhan ... Looks like another T Shirt for you!
Our last supper in HK was set on the 29th floor overlooking Hong Kong island, in the Aqua restaurant ...renowned for its fusion of Italian & Japanese cuisine ... A wonderful dining experience & superb ambiance ... Plus & much to our relief the menu was devoid of pigs lungs & intestines ... !

Andrew B Hi Dave/Theresa, Pleased to hear you managed to get to Aqua before you left HKG. If you are still in Sydney there is a wonderful restaurant called Doyles on the Beach restaurant. Excellent Seafood and great location. Please try if you can get a table. Andrew/Sandra
