well we finally made it to adelaide in one piece! havin been here a few days already we have fully seattled in and gotten use to relaxing, all our washing has been done, just trying to get our whites whiter than white! not sure its gonna happen!

we had a nice few days in perth, met up with rod one of the guys we met on our trek, went our for a couple of meals with him! the hostel was nice, but not as homely as ryan and abby's.

im trying very hard to bring abby's labour on! although she's not to keen on having a spicy curry!!! anyway gonna start car hunting tomorrow and then who knows where we'll be! anyway better go now!

hopefully someone else will send us a message soon! you've all been a bit quite recently!

What a disappointment about your loss of pics ! But great to know you are both well. Ryan has received the parcels i posted so you can have a change of underwear in a week Hee Hee :-). Not sure if you know this but they have moved to Athelstone ( a suburb of Adelaide) Much closer to work for him. Stay lucky and give Ellie a big kiss from Papa please. XX DAD

As sam explained, we have a distinct lack of photos for malaysia. We noticed in singapore that one or two of the photos we'd just taken had file errors but the rest were still ok. So we decided to change memory cards and not use the dodgy one again. Only, when we got to Perth and tried to upload from the dodgy one, it didn't work at all. No computer seems to be able to read it and the camera's want to format it. So we're at a loose end. Maybe a specialist can rescue some of them, who knows!

This is the first real disaster on our trip (apart from the donut incident! the culprit is still to be found and hung!!!) as all of my Malaysia photo's were on there and some from singapore too. Over 300 in total i think. Maybe more. At least our disaster is not serious. We still have memories but they're harder to share with you all.

On the brighter side, we're very excited about getting to Adelaide and seeing Ryan & co. Only 4 days til we'll be there!!!

Just a quick note to let you know we're ok. Arrived in Perth this morning. Apologies for the few photos that are up. One of our memory cards is playing silly b*****s and all of Ricky's photos of malaysia and some of singapore have been lost. We did have fun, you'll be glad to know which you'll read in the blogs very very soon. Hopefully it will paint a beautiful picture in compensation!

Looks like you are having a great time though and that is just great to see.

Can you please confirm your times with us so that we know exactly what is happening, as I start a new role at work on the morning that you are supposed to be arriving in Adelaide and it could be a bit tricky in sorting it all out.

Hi all, sorry for the long delay in updating you, but we've been a little busy! we went to the cameron highlands after penang and its a little bit remote! we slept in what can only be deciribed as a large pig sty! (i know im use to that) or a ww2 bomb shelter. it was cheap cozy and the lounge area was like being at home! we did a long walk around four hours in the mossy jungle, the we got a bus to the boh tea plantation, which from the bus stop was another long walk! after that we headed to taman negara the national park, for yes i will say it more bloody walking!!!!! in another jungle! getting use to this walking melarky (although you'll be glad to hear i still moan) hehe, we sepnt the two nights in a hut type thing with half its wall missing! had a lot of rain and massive storm! then it was three nights in a nice hostel in KL, walked around the city, up the petronas towers got some new flip flops as the old ones have had it! (got crocs now), which leaves us at today we've just got to a nice hotel in melaka staying here for two nights then off to singapore for two nights. hopefully get to see some of rick's work colleagues here! anyway better be off and do some more.......walking!

Hi you two ,By now you will have seen the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur. I found the old and new very nicely mixed. Anyway I had a great week away marred only by a 13 and a half hour delay on returning from Jersey. Thomsonfly YUUUUK ! Weather was fantastic ; jolly good job as well 'cause that's my holiday this year over and done. Your last photos were up to normal standard I am pleased to report.
