GODFREY Firstly Its great to have the both of you back. I have just read your final blog and viewed your photos of New York. Up to the standard I have become accustomed to over the past twelve months I am pleased to say. It has not only been an adventure for the both of you but also for us at home who have followed your routes on the atlas; gasped, gloried and wondered at your pictures; sighed, laughed, smiled and shed a tear over your blogs. A tear of happiness knowing you are enjoying yourselves as your photographs would always show. Being able to keep in touch with you this way gave a feeling of closeness and I am sure I am speaking for us all. Your planning and determination has been remarkable. To experience such a journey and complete an adventure of such enormity deserves more praise than I can express. I hope the both of you Ricky and Sam are very proud of your achievement. I am.

Dad Well its nearly time to come home and face the real world and all it can throw at you. I am so tempted to come out next week on a last minute flight just to annoy you and Ade, but I think I had better save my money as a bit unsure for the next few months. I suppose I will just have to make do with the fact that i saw you off in Dubai and then again in New Zealand and cannot be to gready otherwise people wil start to get jealous! Really loooking forward to seeing you both Sunday week and have brought a case of tissues for you and your mom as you are bound to get through them! i might even need one.Hope Ade does not wind you up too much when he gets there I know he has been researching NY on the internet to see ways he can save money love Dad

Ryan Hi folks, sorry for the lack of messages on here, it's really naughty of us. Anyway, just spent the morning reading through the blogs while at work (naughty, naughty) from the good old US of A and they have been great to look through. Tomorrow morning I might even look through the photos! hehe So you'll both be back home soon, that'll be a bit of a shock to the system for you although as you are both looking forward to it you'll be happy to be there. It's great that the small incident for Sam didn't put you off doing what you wanted and you still managed to see all the N.P.'s and it is good that Sam is on the mend.
