Today I did not know what we were going to do, I ask the governor. She said we are going on the train to Oboke. Again we got our lunch from the supermarket, ham, mustard, crisps and chocolate (routine is good). We got on the train at Takamatsu bound for Tadotsu, the train was mental it was painted orange and was covered in cartoon characters even inside, also the greatest moment possibly of the whole trip as we were sat waiting for the train to pull away from the station a camera crew came I said to Sarah 'I am going to wave like a lunatic to the camera' she said 'don't' I said 'I have to' then the train conductor man (very smart in his little hat) came over and out of a little bag took out a real live white rabbit (yes like a magic trick) and this little white rabbit was wearing a conductors hat, incredible! I got that warm feeling back. I felt a bit special on this mental train it has to be said. We changed trains and got the rapid service to Okobe, we pulled away from the built up areas and headed up a mountain and when it opened up a bit the views were like a post card it was like Emerald City on Sonic and Tails (Miles) level three I think, the one where you had to go under water and find the pockets of air, anyway I digress. There was a river running alongside the track and a carpet of green tree's leading up the mountain which from the train you could only just see the top of, the river was about four feet deep but crystal clear and with the sun shining on it you could see right to the bottom. I couldnt take my eyes off it and the pictures didn't do it justice. We got off the train at Okobe and the river continued to run along side the track but here it wasn't green it was crashing over rocks which whipped it into a white bubbling pool. We decided to explore. Sarah's map wasn't very good though and we walked for a couple of minutes in each direction and couldn't find owt so we settled, once we had found a 'spot' for lunch by the river ate it and then waited for a train back which was fifty minutes later!!! It took us three hours to get there and we were there for about thirty minutes (apart from waiting for the train), but it most definitely was worth it. I will never forget those rivers and mountains (unless I go crackers, then I won't give a tinkers toss about them). We got the train back and went back to the supermarket to get pot-noodles. I said to lovely Sarah lets get you one just in cases today, she agreed. We paid then 'I fancy a curry, do you?' to be fair I did and the pot-noodles would keep, so we headed back to the hotel as it was only four o'clock we watched and episode of Jonathan Creek and headed out about six. We had a bloody delicious curry in the same place (and the same curry) as the other day. When we finished we had a brief look around the shops and watched yet more Jonathan Creek until falling asleep at eleven o'clock one of our latest nights yet.

Sarah It really was beautiful - snow, emerald rivers, the train (crazy train) winding around the mountains and through tunnels. Not as beautiful as the curry though!
