Up early to bus to Puno. We were all waiting in the reception for out leader but she never turned up.  Our transfer guy was there, so after multiple attempts to contact lady Patricia we made our on way to the bus station.  We caught the bus to Puno in the hope she would meet us there. Day off to recharge the batteries in Cusco. Only challenges today were to get my washing clean,  catch up with Rose and send my package home. Meet Rose at Jacks. Had a wonderful catch up over lunch. Was really nice to talk to someone I knew from home. Spent the afternoon getting our package and sent it home.  Hopefully it makes it ! Had dinner, debrief for tomorrow and then off to bed as still pretty tired from the Inca trail.

Day One of Inca trail: Finally we are up walikng the Inca trail. Up early and took a van ride to the starting point, here we went  to Machupicchu Historic Santuary to have a outline on the flora, forna and animals we may see. Today we had to fly to Cusco as the protesters blocked the road.  It was a 45 minute flight compared to a 14 hour bus ride. Great change in transport, just a pity we had to cover the cost. It all meant we had an extra day in Cusco. Started it off with another walking tour. This city had 500,000 people in it. Quite a nice size, not too big, not too small.
