Hello Boston!

After yesterday's events in Boston we were a little unsure about how the city would be. But, once we'd made our way to the apartment, it appeared to be ok, on the surface anyway.

The apartment is in a a lovely location. Quiet street with a long, narrow park at the end, which takes us to the local T-stop (Underground station).

Walked up the street towards a bar we'd seen in the guides, only to find it's in the current 'crime scene', and after showing ID to a marine, stood there with a colleague and their military humvee, we decided to get beer & food stocks and head back. That area has a very noticeable security presence, with fully kitted SWAT & military personnel walking around and manning road blocks.
