Hey everyone!!

So the crazy citys are behind us for the time being and we are now in Langkawi, havnt done too much since we arrived, but that was the plan!! The guest house is really nice and the people very friendly, its a safe wee island, or at least thats how it feels!! We got here on out first day and headed straight for the beach in the afternoon and caught the last of the days rays, before heading out for a lovely meal in a local restaurant, which is all very cheap!!

The next day we decided to hire a car since there is no public transport here apart from getting a taxi and at less than ten pounds to hire a car for the day and 3pound in petrol to get you round the whole island it seemed the best idea. In the morning we drove up to find out about horse riding on the beach and also an elephnat adventure, was a good fun drive, then we went round the whole island, found a waterfall and also went to the nicest beach on the island, which you can see Thailand from. Later that evening we went back to the horse place and booked ourselves in for a ride one morning, and then went to the elephant place and got to meet an asain elephant and feed and bath it which was nice, but neither of us could really decided if it was cruel or not......but at least the money goes to help protect other elephants, which is good!!

After our long day of driving it was time for a relaxing tea and a drink (40p for tiger beer here!!).
