Day 55 - Cambodia to Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City)

Today we got up and finished packing our things and headed to the airport for our 45min flight to Vietnam. We spent more time in the airport than we did on the plane!!! We arrived in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and caught a 'taxi' to the hotel, later we found out that it wasn't a taxi and it cost us 4 times the price so we paid $24 rather than $6. We weren't to know. After settling in our new room, which seems very small compared to our apartment we had in Phnom Penh, we went for a walk and found some lunch and the market which we will be visiting on Tuesday with our tour. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and while we were eating a nice old man (Asian) asked us if we would mind if he put on a DVD Celebrity Dancing (Asian Dancing with the Stars). We said that we didn't mind and he encouraged Mum to turn her chair around so she could see the T.V. It was very good and Dad liked it because he couldn't understand what the judges were saying. The old man explained bits of what the judges were saying and the dances that were being danced, although Mum recognized most of them.
