We were picked up after breakfast and taken to Koh Mook, the first destination of our 4 island tour. Here, we took part in a bit of snorkelling not too far out from the beach. After this we went to an Island which appeared to have no way of getting on it due to the cliffs. That's when we were told that an 80 metre swim through a tiny outlet of one of the caves at the waterside would take us through to a hidden lagoon within the confines of the island. It was pretty scary to do (swimming in the sea in the dark is not on my list of things I must do again in a hurry), but the lagoon was pretty cool to see. Its known as Tham Morakot (emerald cave). We then went to an idyllic beach for swimming, more snorkelling and a delicious lunch of chicken curry, veges and fried chicken pieces with the necessary condiments required to make things sweeter or spicier depending on your preference. We then went to a final island for more snorkelling (me staying on the boat this time, there's only so much getting in deep sea water I can do in one day!) and we checked out some big bats clinging to the cliff side. This final island was called Koh Ngai. We were dropped off at our beach in time for a rest and an amazing cocktail at the Easy Bar. I had a Pina Colada served in a whole fresh coconut with sparkers (hee hee!) and Howellsey had a very manly Pink Lady (hmmm). We then strolled up the road for more great food including more curry, minced chicken stuffed cuttlefish and morning glory vines (yummy vegetable!). Great day overall!
