Today we were up at the crack of dawn to go rafting! Whoop! We spent around 3 hours getting up to the head of the Upper Navua river in the mountains of Fiji (interesting journey including some of the steepest roads I've ever been on!). Today we hopped back on the Feejee experience bus which took us on a fantastic jungle trek to a series of three waterfalls. It was extremely muddy and involved crossing swamps and wading through rivers to get there. You could then swim and dive into the plunge pool of the top fall. We then trekked back and took a long tailed boat through a mangrove estuary. We also had some great views of shark fin mountain along the way. Weather isn't so good today but generally...

Today we were on Fiji time! We got up, had breakfast, then lazed about the beach until the horses arrived! I then went for a fab trek along the beach and up to a lookout point which was beautiful (thanks Dora and Oli and see pic!!) Well, today felt a little like a Bruno Mars song. We got up, had brekkie, went to beach (approximate 10 second walk) and stayed there for quite some time. Went to do some coconut jewellery making in the afternoon but the dude didn't have the right tools so we ended up messing around with the coconuts and they cooked some up for us in the Fiji style which is to fry them and sprinkle with salt! Okay, today was an adventure! We got collected at 7.30 Fiji time (which means 8.30) and the bus took us to Nadi again to get supplies for our ongoing journey. We then headed to Natadola beach, rated Fiji's finest. It really was beautiful with white sand and huge waves for Howellsey to play in! I remained mainly on the beach itself watching the cute kids playing rugby with no ball (read: fighting!) and reading my book. We had a fab BBQ lunch cooked by our guides (...
