Well, looks like we are back on-line. Will have to go back and update previous days. Max and I caught the Metro into Paris today. Finally found how to go under the road to get across to the Arche de Triomphe. Took some happy snaps and then headed down the Champs Élysées - a bit of shopping at Louis Vuitton maybe (ha, in my dreams). Had a very expensive toilet stop. Needed a loo so we stopped at a cafe. Currently at laundromat. 3 loads of washing. Then we have to cart back to hotel. About 2 k's. All the walking we have done last 12 days I should have lost weight but they eat so much bread and cheese here that I am sure I am getting bigger. OMG. Think I better hit the gym in our hotel.

Well, we move on from Ypres tomorrow morning and on to Amiens. Have finished packing and about to go sleep. Will log more stuff about today - probably tomorrow afternoon. We will be up at 2am on Anzac Day to leave at 3am for the dawn service. Believe it is going to be wet and freezing cold.

Well, just had breakfast and it turns out I am not the only one feeling like an Oompa Loompa. Many are avoiding the breads today. Finally, a nice coffee (the French have dreadful coffee).
