Soooooo, here is our official first blog. We shipped out from gatwick on tuesday at lunchtime and arrived in hanoi (vietnam) at 6.00am local time. Due to a technical issue with staceys personal on flight entertainment, she was unable to watch any films, however the games were working until CAVE CRUSHER came on and ruined everything.....it ammounted to a very long journey.
We also had a lovely spicy pot noodle!
We then transferred to Bangkok after a short sleep in hanoi airport (which by the way, only serves hard liquour and cigarettes at 6am, who knew) and were greeted by two germans asking to share a cab. We obliged and saved a fair bit of BAHT, HAPPY DAYS.
Its hot here but not unbearable, wandered around Koa San rd. which is the backpacker hotspot. Had our first Tut tut drive and found it pretty decent. Hoping to visit temples and shiz tomorrow and trying not to spend too much money in the market. PLease keep an eye on our video uploads as a bush-tucker trial will be making a debut very shortly.
Enjoyed some beers and live music earlier and were confronted by an onslaught of street sellers and blaggers trying to sell everything from squeaky pigs to p**** pong. Enough said......
Rest assured, we are both well although tired. Excited for tomorrows adventures
Lots of love

Melissa I don't think it originated wiithn TfL, but inspiring people to use the Tube is presumably a big selling point for getting them on-board.
