Jaipur We got to Jaipur on an overnight train from Jaisalmer which must have arrived at around 5am. Our hotel room wasn't ready until 10.30 but we were able to sleep on the sofas in the common room. JaisalmerWhen we first arrived in Jaisalmer I had the same thought that I have each time we arrive in a new Indian city - "This doesn't look anything like any of the other places we've seen." Udaipur 06/03/09 - 09/03/09 We arrived in Udaipur on an overnight train. We both had a bed at the top of a bunk, which would have been comfortable had we not had to sleep with our massive rucksacks in bed with us.
