The CN Tower is 1,815 feet tall. We got up to the highest point the general public can access which is 1,465 feet high, and blimey Toronto is huge. Flat too, so you can see for miles and miles and miles.
Today is a perfect day to gaze out across the Greater Toronto area. There isn't a cloud in the sky (apart from some man-made skywriting ones telling us about the wonders of Claritin) and even though it can be a little breezy it's rather glorious.
Toronto is certainly more busy and impersonal than Vancouver, but in it's own way it's quite nice too. I like the idea of different districts and neighbourhoods, and hopefully we'll get out to a few of them before we leave on Monday. If (when, hopefully) we come back to Canada I think a couple of weeks in Vancouver and out of the major cities would do the job.
...I'd say that we might be getting old but we just know what we like :) BC was all about wandering, hiking, staring at vistas, Toronto seems to be about finding the odd cool place we like and having a relax.
