After a weekend of late nights my friends and I wanted to take a lazy day. So after sleeping in until noon we all met up to go into Belfast to take a look at the murals. The murals went up in Belfast during and after the troubles in Ireland.Depending on which part of the city you go to changes the kinds of murals you see. We went to the se…

Hey Everyone! I created this blog so that my family, friends, and classmates can follow me and my travels while I am studying abroad at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown Northern Ireland. I know it will be hard for me to stay in touch with everyone and thought you all might find reading this blog a bit easier to keep track of me than trying to get me on the phone. Please enjoy this blog and I hope you all enjoy my journey as much as I will.
Eden I am planning a 30-day visit to Europe (Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Munich, Amsterdam, Brussels) on a buedgt during March of this year, therefore would like to stay in backpacker hostels. I shall be with a group of 5 persons. Everybody of the group intends to make it as cheap as possible. Now, should we book our stay in backpacker in advance before coming to each city or I can get vacant rooms on arrival?
re: photo from 01 December 2010Abdala He Jo, english isn't your mohetr tongue that's some impressive language skills mate! re: photo from 01 December 2010Prema I just bought a Renfe tikect (web special). If you look at at the left hand screen (right below the spanish sign in box) there is a tiny drop down option to get the english version of the site. From thereon it is self-explanatory. Make sure to print your tikect (disable pop-up blockers) as you must have that copy to board the train. That is, as a matter of fact your tikect. Just as an FYI, I bought my tikect for $75 Canadian (Madrid to Barcelona), while going through the raileurope pass would have cost me $315 Canadian. Mind you, the web special tikects are non-refundable, non-changable
re: photo from 01 December 2010Montserrat I found availability for BUR-TPA, TPA-PIT, and LAX-MDW for the exact flhtigs I had highlighted as the ones I wanted before calling. I still have one oneway unclaimed.Where did you search credit-award availability on southwest.com? I can't find that page. It's not just the PFC that is not charged on awards, but also the $3.8 segment fee. On cheap flhtigs like LAX-LAS, these add up to a large percentage of the ticket price, so you can get a bit higher than 1.7 cents per Southwest point.

re: Bangor, UKJOHN Dublin is Not in the UK
re: Dublin, UKRazoon Quite honestly Kerry, I think that all this piirodec hand-wringing that you and Dawn indulge in over Bristol's public transport is just to be seen to be doing something.Labour have had 12 years to sort out the public transport situation in one of Britain's largest and most important cites - and yet nothing has been done. Sure, there's been lots of talking, but no action.Collectively, Bristol's politicians from across the entire spectrum have failed miserably to improve transport in our city. Time and again it's mentioned as one of the big issues for Bristolians, yet absolutely nothing is done by anyone in power, locally or nationally. As paid politicians I really think that you should all be ashamed of this abject failure. If Labour can't sort out the buses and trains in Bristol what exactly can you do?

re: photo from 01 December 2010Richard What is the best jogging sorltler at an affordable price?I am looking for a good jogging sorltler. I have a 19 month old son and I have been using the Graco travel system sorltler when I go walking jogging. I go almost every morning and bring my son with me. The Graco sorltler is not ideal for jogging because it has 4 wheels and I struggle and get tired very easily when I start to jog. Anyone have any suggestions?
re: photo from 01 December 2010Ipul We recently left for Disney World on 9/13. I was rlelay nervous about flying so close the 10th anniversary but this was the best rate so I went ahead and booked. My stomach hurt so badly because of nerves the entire flight. We actually had to take two different planes to Orlando and the first one went great no issues. Well when we got to Dallas to fly to Orlando they actually had air marshalls and police officers escort a male passenger off of the plane..Talk about FREAKING OUT! This was the longest 2 1/2 hours of my life. We landed safely but I don't think I will ever feel 100% comfortable flying again.
