Arrived in Bar and one of the guys that worked at the train station offered us a room for 20 euro down the road, we bargained him down to 15 euro and took it! The lady was really sweet and showed us the way to the bus station the next morning, as we were out of there and headed for Budva.
Got to Budva in the heat of the day, began looking for campsites but were having no luck! Eventually found one after we asked around a few places, it was pretty easy to miss, well hidden and more or less somebody's backyard. It was actually kinda like a junk yard and I wasn't that impressed! Fully of midgys too as they had fruit trees everywhere so got eaten alive!
We went down to the beach for a swim, but weren't that impressed it was pretty dirty and rocky/mirky looking! Decided to skip a swim and head for the Old Town, which was really pretty but just full of souvenir shops. Caught a bus to check out Sveti Stefan which is quite famous in Montenegro - an old fishing village that was turned into a resort before all the conflict in the 90s, now it is abandoned - we think anyway from what it looked like. We had the BEST swim here - water was so nice and deep and just so relaxing could have stayed on for ever!!
