11 June 2010 (the year before D-Day)
Hi everyone, just started my first blog. Sitting in MacDonalds, I;ll have to start liking their food I suppose if it means the only way to get free wi-fi.
The boat is afloat, so D-Day is getting closer. I’m trying to be serious about the departure, ie sorting invoices, dog to vets, buying waterproof gear, finding a dog/house sitter but its hard trying to get the more burning issues off my mind such as which of my flip flops can I take and will I get to see the season finale of Desperate Husewives before we leave.
For those of you who are wanting to read the more techy stuff – how many nautical miles have we covered, or how is the engine holding out, then I will be starting a blog soon on sailblog.com.
Well have to go home and start the packing and clearing. Or maybe I’ll go for a quick swim and have a wonder about my competent crew.
