A lot of my friends have laughed when I have told them that we are going travelling on a boat I have never seen let alone spent time on. I have also laughed but often with a sense of hysteria associated with electric shock therapy.
It seems more right this time. I am not a bothered about what happens in Desperate Housewives or how many shoes to take!
Ali launched the Bunny on April 11th, I joined on APril 22, we have been sailing for two days. I have spent the last week sorting out our home, and travelling down to the South Coast and seemed to have contracted womanflu. Its different from manflu. You can soldier on for days, dismissing the throwawy comments of “it must be hay fever” when you realise that you really don’t care how ill you look, rather how ill you feel for the first time in a year.
Bunny andDH have done me proud. She handles well, and has plenty of storage for a 8m yacht. We will stay onthe South Coast for a few more days, time to recover and time to reflect of what we leave behind and what lies ahead.
