Koh lanta was a really lovely island we got spent 2 nights on. We got a ferry there from phi phi and stayed in a guest house on the beach. The beach was massive and the sea was really calm, you could see phi phi in the distance and the sunsets at night were beautiful. The island was very chilled out and quiet compared to the last few places we had visited which was nice as we had had a lot of late nights out on the other party islands so was good to get some decent nights sleep and chill out in quieter bars where you could enjoy listening to live reggae bands. We spent the one whole day that we had in Koh Lanta driving round on mopeds which you can hire for 24hours for about 200 Thai Bart which is about £4. We drove all round the island and visited the national park and the islands view points. We drove through old towns and stopped off at local markets aswell. We also tried to find the islands waterfall where we had to trek through a jungle, it was good fun although not very easy with flip flops and rain and we slipped over a lot! We also passed some elephants, monkeys and cows on our drive too. We spent the evening in a reggae bar at the next town which ended in a long walk home after the tut tut that gave us a lift ran out of fuel! Today we leave for Ao Nang by ferry which is in Krabi back in mainland Thailand,
