I got to Chiang Mai yesterday and so far so GREAT! Yesterday we bumped into some people that were in our hostel in Bangkok and we decided to tag along with them on a tour to a temple and tiger kingdom where you get to play with tigers! Was amazing!! Had such a good day! I was a little scared of the bigger tiger cubs but the babies were so cute like little kittens! Lisa went in with the fully grown tigers - I was too scared lol!

Our tour guide Chan was a really cool guy and he told us loads about the temple we visited. He showed me a group of statues which stand for each day of the week and the one that relates to you is the one for the day you were born. Mine was Friday and apparently this means I look back alot at the past and things I have done but when I am older like 35-40 I wont anymore and my life will be great - hmmm?!

In the evening the hostel orgainsed for a group of us to go to a bbq it was great!! It was something the locals do alot and it was packed hundreds of tables and you have your own wok/bbq and just pick all your food and slap it on! We then went bowling and I actually won a game!! ... and lost one lol!!

Was a really good day :)
