Well the count down begins! Can´t believe that we have almost finished our amazing adventure! We have only 5 days left. I´m sad that its almost over but I cant wait to see all my lovely family and friends! So since we last wrote, we had an excellent birthday night. Lots of drinking dancing and we both won prizes in the ladies night raffle at Oceanside disco! There was also another girl who lived on the Island celebrating her birthday too, so we all joined forces for a wild night. We stayed in Caye Caulker 2 more days and then made our way over to Belize City. Caye Caulker was such an amazing place. We made so many friends there. The locals treated us like family and made us so welcome. After just a couple of days there everybody knew us and we couldn't walk down the street without stopping to talk with numerous people! Its one of my favourite places of this trip due mostly to the people, the beauty of the place and the food! Back in Belize city we stayed in Hotel Mopan which was very nice compared to the places we had stayed in when we first came to Belize City. We had personal tour guides this time courtesy of the friend we made in Caye Caulker so we had the full tour of the city. We were taken to a house party on Friday night which was lots of fun, we didn't leave till 6am! Then on Saturday we went to a BBQ (we were treated like members of the family) where we ate deer! Then on Sunday we went to Old Belize where there is a museum depicting Belize through the ages. There is also a man made beach there with a death water slide, which wasn't as fun as i thought it would be! All in all a great time was had and we made lots of friends who said next time we come back we only need to worry about the air tickets! We left Belize on Monday and travelled on a Chicken bus to chetumal and then a normal coach to Playa del Carmen. Since we arrived here we have just been chilling and enjoying our last week. Its very touristy here with lots of Americans. There is a great night life scene with ladies nights at different clubs and bars every night! This mean free entry and free drinks all night!! Cant go wrong!
