Its Sunday morning, my passport has now been sent to the Egyptian Embassy for the multiple entry visas. I need to book flights from Cai-Dam this week aswel as accomm for both cities. One this has done I can spend the next fortnight deciding between Allepo, Palmyra and Krak Des Chavaliers...roll on October!

My first journal entry, I have just under 8 weeks to go till departure, currently I'm waiting for my passport back from the Syrian embassy (hopefully with a visa stamped in it!).
