Rob headed off on his journey home today, catching the train to Rome, staying overnight and catching up with his cousin in Rome. He flies out early Monday morning. I was a little sad, but it didn't seem to bother Liam to much. The UK mob arrived yesterday, that makes 10 in a 2 bedroom house:-/. Too close for comfort, especially with snorers, so Rob, myself & Steve booked into the local hotel for a few nights of pleasant sleep, it's very comfortable. Liam is enjoying his stay in the hotel and sharing the bed with Mum! Have been going to the pool each afternoon with Liam, the weather is still very hot. Liam has progressed amazingly in the water and is becoming very brave. He became mates with Mike the instant he met him and has entertained him since Dad left. It's difficult to tell who is the kid sometimes (see photo).
7 sept. Headed down to a house of 7 after breakfast. It is nice to catch up with the UK mob, Mark and Georgie last saw Liam when he was only a couple of hours old! They have hired a car so we didn't feel trapped in Arpino and have been able to wonder around some other close by towns to have a look around. Steve is hiring a car today and we will all possibly head over to Recanati on the weekend for a week. Will be nice to Liam out of Arpino and treat him to a trip to the east coast.
