Well possoms, its a bit overcast today, so we've popped back from a cruise and I have a few minutes left on the comp, so I thought I'd tell you about some of the antics in Bali, aside from the sight seeing and the haggling theives (that we so fondly nick-named the local community). A competition has arisen between me and Tom involving copious amounts of booze, namely that in pint form and for the Bali experience, the above featured brand was king. Tom was known as Sebastian throughout the Bintang days and I was Heidi - Unfortuately Sebastian did kick Heidi's arse a few times, but he got a whooping of his own every now and then. We made a few Tinny lines, but the house keepers removed them daily. The 'Toohey' days in Sydney are now in full swing and its neck and neck so far.
Anyway, back to Bali, we made friends with several of the locals - our tour guide Erwin was a bit of a legend, we saw him everyday and I'm not trying to raise an issue here or anything, but he supported Man U 'Zee Rrrrread Devilllls' as he put it, which I feel only confirms my theory that all Manc fans are not actually from Manchester....and many not even from the UK. Sorry Ads. There was also cross-eyed Sally - another beautiful local and The Bull Dog and Quilted Leg woman - a foul pair of Dutch Sun Worshippers who really should not have taken their kit off. Tom has been damaged for life. We also had an avid fan club on the beach - a small hovel of scummy locals, sporting fanny packs and brown teeth, who were called things like Tony, Happy, Zara and Jenni (all fake names) - collectively known as the Beach skanks. Creative, no?
Well anyway, I just thought I would jot a couple of things down, as I was pretty rushed last time - we will give a Sydney update before we head off on tour - I cannot wait!!!!!!! YAY!!! Its gonna be awesom!! We've done loads already, so will have some pics for you. Hope everyone is doing well and having a fabulous January.
Big love from Rach and Tom xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
