2nd day in Bangkok and its raining, but not the type of rain we have in England, it's tropical rain which means the raindrops are the size of golf balls hitting you really hard! I don't mind though because I am suffering from a mild hangover. Went out on th Khoa San Rd last night and met SOOOO many people. Also found a hidden little bar playing drum and bass which is definately what I needed to make me feel comfortable here. First group of lads I met were wicked guys and we had loads in common and they really helped me come out of my shell a bit. Thanks guys!!! From there I saw two girls handing out flyers for this DnB night so I decided to give them a hand harrassing anyone that looked like ravers! The bar was dead until about 12 and everyone that came in already knew me from handing them the flyers. I felt right at home and George, you may want to think about hiring me. Met some brummy lads that were staying in my hotel so stayed out with them drinking til all hours!
Slept off my jet lag/hangover was in bed until 12!! Then didn't do much at all except had some tea with guys from Sunday night and met a group of people that were about to go home and were dead jealous! From there had to go to TAT Tourist office and finalise my plans for the rest of the month. These start from tomorrow evening when I will be getting the train to Chang Mai to trek for 3 days in the jungle, then on to Chang Rai to the Golden Triangle, then down south to Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi, then a bus to Surat Thani and ferri to Ko Pnagn for the full moon party on the 21st feb, then onto Ko Tao and then to make my way down to Singapore. Anyone jealous???
