So the time has come for us to go east after just over three months in WA and this impending departure tomorrow has lead to us reflect on a couple of things we have learnt and changes to us :-
1. .Mosquitos love to bite me ( Rach) and I do not react well to this, both physically and emotionally ( by emotionally I mean I get moany and annoying)
2.Shaun is not allowed to take his iPhone anywhere near water!!
3. I have embraced boho hair and no longer dry or straighten my hair everyday (although am still taking these with me on our travels )
4. Shaun finally has a tan.
5. Jeans/trousers no longer exist in my wardrobe! Apart from wearing these for work I have not worn trousers since I arrived. I am strictly a dress wearing girl now and embrace this fact by regularly buying new ones.
6. It can get too hot! Despite us thinking we love the heat before we arrived in the country, once here working, when it hits 40 degrees it is too hot. The only thing to do is to sit in an air conditioned room.
We are both excited at the prospect of a new adventure and experiencing a different side of Australia. We intend to blog our way round the east coast so expect more ramblings from us both soon.

Biological Mother Great stuff - your travels are going to be wonderful as you embrace this new and exciting, chapter together. Things i have learnt since Rach and Shaun came to live with us. 1. Mosquitos love to bite Rach - she gets moody and annoying 2. Shaun shouldn't take his phone near water - Rachel gets moody and annoying 3. Rachel is beautiful whether or not she straightens her hair 4. Shaun is not white all over 5. Rachel has discovered it is justifiable to buy another dress - "as it is small and lightweight for the case" 6. It gets too hot!! Hope you have a fun time and can't wait to hear all about it as you go along - just embrace whatever is thrown your way. LOVE YOU XXX
