Today we had a lie in as we didn't get back from bowling until just after 1am and then we just chilled out in the TV room of the hostel watching music videos for the rest of the morning. We saw Josefine and Cecila around the hostel. They had just checked in and staying in Surfers Paradise for 2 nights. It was great to see them again after we had said goodbye to them in Noosa. They were heading out to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre as Josefine had seen a dress she liked in a shop in Brisbane but they didn't have her size. We said goodbye to them and headed out ourselves down to the beach. We spent the afternoon here relaxing and soaking up the sun. Checking out the fit lifeguards as well lol. Come and rescue me any day. Afterwards we headed back to the hostel and cooked some dinner. We saw Thomas and his Korean friend Karl from Airlie Beach in the kitchen. Josefine and Cecila had come back from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and came and joined us at the table. We spent most of the evening chatting with them until they went out for a few drinks. They did invite us along but we wanted to save money. We stayed up quite late so that Gina could speak to her mum online and I wanted to speak to my mum and dad on the phone. It went past midnight and we were told by two people who worked at the hostel that we couldn't sit outside anymore and had to go back to our dorm room. We refused to move as we won't doing anything wrong and even though it was quiet time in the hostel, we weren't making any noise. I went to phone my dad and told him that I had lost the lead to my camera. He is going to try and buy one in a camera shop in Chichester or order one online for me and post it out to me in Sydney. Thanks Dad. After I had finished speaking to my dad, I called my mum. One of the guys from the hostel came up to me and said while I was speaking to my mum that I have five more minutes left to speak to her. I was so angry. No one tells me how long I can speak to my family for especially with the time difference. Its hard to contact them sometimes as we are all doing different things. Apparently the guy had been saying to the other guy from the hostel that I shouldn't be on the phone. Gina had overheard them talking about me. The guys were a bunch of idiots.
