Xmas eve. We spent most of it doing chores - finalising the arrangements for our trek, skyping our families, shopping for socks. Had an amazing fried pork and maize meal for lunch on pork street and otherwise spent day exploring streets and square of Cusco. Jen got us caught in the rain in the afternoon without an available taxi anywhere so got a good ol' soaking. I'm giving her a free pass on that as an Xmas present. She'd better have gotten me something good in return...
