Ello all!

So yesterday we hit NY. Got the train from Port Washington in the morning where some random guy who we have decided to call Mike chatted to us all the way there. He was really nice and funny. We got to Penn station and walked down to Times Square and mooched about there for a bit. It's really cool there, loads of stuff to see. We then got on a guided tour bus onto the downtown loop ride which took us down to Ground Zero which was really intersting to see. From there we went down to Wall Street and the Financial area, where you go to get on the ferry to the Satue of Liberty, up past the Brooklyn Bridge, through China Town and Little Italy which are really nice areas and through Soho and then back up to Times Sqaure. We then ended the day by going up to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. Well worth the $18. We could see for miles and miles around. It was beautiful. We got back down and went back to the station home. Was a great first day.

Today we have been round the upper west side on the uptown loop and round Central Park kind of. But going back there tomorrow also. We walked down 5th ave which has all the designer stores like Gucci and Versace. We didn't go in any of them because we aren't posh enough... We then went past the NYC public library and then down to Grand Central Station which is MASSIVE! Much bigger than I thought it was. From there we walked back to Penn Station to go home.

We are now watching FRIENDS and chilling. Tomorrow we are going to The Statue of Liberty and then round Central Park some more.
