Another beautiful day at Hoh Kam school! Today would be the day for numerous greetings classes and Family talk! Hey mans flew around the room, with lots of high fives! (High Ha's). Bonjour! Is what they say in France and in Antartica they rub noses! Yeah boi! It was scout day, in which all the students dressed in scout uniforms. We discussed the story of our nickname for the tallest slash coolest student in the school whose name is Nut. We call him Tua Fuk Yeow (long green bean). Pok thought this was hillarious! We drew pictures of our families in class and told everyone how many people were in our family. We also played Prue says with the advanced students in secondary. They are now ready to step it up a notch and comprehend the proper rules of touch football, Hoorar! Lunch included beautiful fried rice (keow neow) and a nice soup (naam soup) and a hell of a lot of boiled peanuts. In the afternoon Rikki played games with the primaries involving lots of yelling of numbers in which you had to scream eighteen and whisper nineteen.. prooved to be quite funny and the whole class was in a fit of laughter. We taught touch football to the primaries and then played tug a war! Good times! Ice creams for everyone and a safe trip home.
Just when we thought it was time to relax, we were going to the rock temples right on the Mekong to watch the sun set. We caught the very last bit of the sunset which was absolutely breath taking. Prue was lost for words. Rikki finally gained permission and trust to ride the motor bike home after four days of consideration hahaha crazy Aussie! Apparently Prue is the trustworthy and responsible one, go figure? We are planning another trip to the rock temples for a thai picnic on the rocks to watch the whole sun set, yipeeee!
Dinner was amazing! Pork curry, green bamboo soup and some crazy pork slash fish slash colliflower soup. Finished with watermellon (tang Moore). But wait theres more, we are getting ready for bed.. sooo damn tired when the door bell rings.. Yes that right. One of the teachers from school Pee Hong has brought her nieces and nephews from another school over for an english lesson at 8:30 at night... yay! Say no more... Good night!
note: Prues nails are growing long as she is too scared to put her fingers near her mouth.. (too many germs).
xxx Rah Tii Sawat (good night)
