Yesterday we spent the morning shopping for supplies such as snacks for the kids, cleaning materials such as masks etc, and basic hardware.We had a great driver, Steven, who has helped us bargain with the locals to get the best prices (although we still pay double!!).The afternoon was spent at the orphanage giving out the shoes to the kids.The shoes were all donated by Nestle Australia staff and the kids were so excited to get them!We had a team of people calling the kids up to get their shoes and they were then directed to a "station" where they cleaned their feet in a bowl of water and soap and then helped into their shoes.We got as many photos as we could but it was chaos!!Thank you to everyone who kindly donated shoes, they were very well received and it was fantastic to see the new shoes being put to good use.

Today we picked up 25 kids from the orphanage and brought them back to the hotel for a swim and lunch.It was exhausting trying to keep track of all of them but they loved it!We had some Life Savers beach balls that kept them afloat and the 7 team members did a great job of keeping an eye on them to make sure they were safe.Unfortunately one of the boys managed to relieve himself in the pool and then vomited on another lady after she had thrown him around a few times.We made a hasty exit after that!

Tomorrow is another busy day as we are taking one of the sick boys from the orphanage to hospital to be checked out and then taking lunch to the children at the orphanage.
