Off to universal studios on the underground met and then a short shuttle bus ride to the front gate. Once inside the park we discovered the characters of the moment are minions and despicable me is everywhere.
Naturally the rides are too much for me and I enjoy the sights on the outside. I did especially well after just the first ride, leaving my camera on the steps and luckily retrieving it from the office.
As recommended the backlot tour was the highlight and was far more entertaining than expected. Elz loved the Simpsons ride and everyone except Isla loved getting soaked on Jurassic park.
Elodie informed me that her shoes were too tight after a couple of hours and we ended up doing a trade, giving her a pair of $160 Merrill sandles and me some purple swirled converse shoes.
Home very late after some Mexican dinner - Josie ate nothing and Isla 2 bites of subway.
