Transit day day and I woke feeling very average. Unfortunately the shuttle ride to the airport proved too much and I was sick. Girls were great through security and a nice seat at the airport was much appreciated before boarding our air canada flight - an airline which I'm sure packs in a couple of extra rows so no one has any leg room.
We had a heap of trouble finding a car or taxi that would fit is all from the airport - Vancouver has a maximum of 4 per taxi no matter how many seats. Finding something for 5 was difficult, in the end wade booked something with a company who assures us they could cater and the price was really reasonable. At the airport they tell us that our limo will be around to meet us soon and sure enough a stretch limo appears to take us to our hotel.
The burrard is an older hotel which has undergone a retro transformation. It's not bad but the room is very small with all of us jam packed in one room together. Isla was still sick, plenty of coughing and some temperatures - I feel like hell and just want to curl up and sleep.
