We decided that since everyone was feeling better we deserved a nice breakfast and found a place in the heart of kamloops called hello toast. It was packed and received great reviews on trip advisor etc. It didn't disappoint with all of us receiving an amazing meal - all of them huge. Isla and Josie shared a bacon and eggs (although they preferred the cooked ham to US bacon), elz has an omelette, wade had something called a birdsnest and I couldn't go past green eggs and game which was basically pesto added to eggs and scrambled. Best of all they had actual real coffee which was decent - the first so far.
From there we headed to a park which was surrounded by water and as requested by Isla we played putt putt on a very well worn course. Highlights includes balls out on the road (me), skillful course skipping shots (elz and Josie), a happy Isla and best of all the chipmunk who charged at Elodie as she took a shot.
Had a bit more of a look around and headed off to our next destination, a small town called Revelstoke. Very pretty with some snow capped mountains surrounding the town. Our hotel was called Swiss chalet motel and was fabulous, with a separate bedroom with single beds for the two big girls and a sofa bed for Isla in our room.
We headed off to dinner at a place called emos where we tried some of the local beer, brewed just down the road. I loved it and drank most if the first 2 that arrived. Wade had ribs, me salmon (meh but healthy), Josie kids steak and Elodie chicken Parma. Of course Isla had chips and ate none.
