I'm all packed up, ready to head out. Can't believe it's about to start. My life finally has some certainty back. I had to wait so long for a final answer whether or not this placement would go ahead.
A bit more about the work. Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT) advocates for the urban poor in Phnom Penh, such as by producing reports about the effect of property development projects on the lives of those displaced by them. Following is a list of links I've collected about land rights issues in Cambodia - if you're interested then probably the best one to start with is the BBC report (it's an audio file).
