As you can tell from David's post, we saw a grizzly bear! It was quite far away and there are no pictures unfortunately as my camera decided this trip was a good time to give up the ghost. There is footage on David's camcorder but we can't upload that so you'll have to wait till we're home. About 5 minutes after the bear we saw 2 bald eagles! Also no pictures but video footage to watch when we're back.

Prior to this excitement, which was all clumped together at the end of the day as we were heading back out of the park, we had seen bison, deer and a chipmunk! There are pictures but, again, you'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can cajole my camera into behaving for more than 30 seconds.

The rest of the day was pleasant driving and long walks round geysers and inhaling lots of sulphur. We also experienced a range of weather, sun, rain, snow, hail and later on thunder. Fun times!

All in all a brilliant day (minus the camera issues) and finished off with a yummy dinner of steak and take - out pudding! Looking forward to tomorrow and further exploration of the park.
