It was a lovely morning yesterday! Woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for breakfast in the morning, but not before seeing the photos of myself sleeping and holding on to the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and having my things strewn all over the place. I was not hungover! But the highlight was Naomi waking up to find Michael sleeping at the foot of her bed. Pissed her off so bad! Anyway, breakfast at vibe hotel was a feast! We had a huge spread of food, from pancakes, bacon sausages to made-to-order eggs and of course toast and fruits (and so on!) Yum! We hit the streets again of Gold Coast again for one last attempt at good bargains before boarding Heidi and making our way to Byron Bay! I love Byron Bay, because it it so much more relaxed and comfortable as compared to Gold Coast which is more like a city. There are more people walking about on the streets than the cars.. and a large variety of shops to cater for every individual needs. Surf shops, post office, supermarkets, clothing store, and some unique stores holding the quirky items for those who crave for more creative collections. If you're not in for shopping, chilling out by the beach or surfing is also an excellent idea. If you're lucky, you can also spot some interesting characters hanging out and about! So that was how I spent my two days here, soaking up the sun and cool atmosphere, and having barbecue dinners both nights prepared by our very own Deano! Thanks to him, I managed to try Kangaroo meat, and good aussie barbecue, and some very tasty cocktail (it's pretty much alcoholic, but he wouldn't reveal the contents!). Our tour group ended up being one of the few who managed to finish up the whole toyogo box of it! (not before getting a few people drunk of course). Looking at the weather, it's going to be freezing tonight!
