I made it to Trujillo in one piece and I am now relaxing in my hostel room waiting for the sun to come out before I cross the road and go down on the huge deserted beach. The bus trip here went fine and I did get some sleep in the bus, even though I was a bit restless. We arrived in Trujillo at 7:30 in the morning and I looked a bit around the old centre before having breakfast and getting a taxi out to the Naylamp Hostel in the beach suburb of Huanchaco where I stay the next three days.

I have been out to look at Huanchaco and it seem to be a nice place, even though the weather was not so warm today. Its much more calm than Lima, but there are also loads of backpaxkers. The place might be quite fun in the evening. There are many surfers and surfing schools so maybe I should try that one of the afternoons, but tomorrow I will go temple watching. Right now I am sitting on the porch of my room at the hostel and I am a bit worried because one of the hostels two turtels keeps walking under my chair and everytime my arm comes near its head it opens its mouth… I wonder wether turtle bites hurt…
