Im still in Cusco and relaxing a bit. I have spent the days visiting some museums and some of the ruins near Cusco. Today I went on a great mountain biking trip in the sacred valley (the valley between Cusco and Macchu Pichu, which is full of Inca sites). It ws a great trip, the weather was beautiful and clear so that we could see all the snow covered mountain peaks. We went to Moray, which is believed to have been an Inca agrigultural laboratory for developing maiz plants to grow at altitude. Afterwards we visited Salinare, which you can see on the picture. It is a salt production village In which they use the evaporation in the sun to bake out the salt from the water of a very salty local spring.

Tonight I am quite tired after the trip and will relax a bit, but I will go out to find tome dinner now.
