On our way to Perth we stopped at the Pinnacles which are limestone finger shaped structures that rise from the ground making you feel like you are on another planet - especially if you have a good imagination! Then a very quick stop to see my cousin Brendan and Claire who I hadn't seen for over 15 years. Then it was on to Kings Park, a beautiful park on top of Perths CBD. Here we met up with Chantelle my buddy from work who was visiting her husband Simon who is working in Perth for a short while. It was great to catch up on the work goss but still know that I have a few weeks before I am due back.
Rob, Sara and Tili met up with us in Kings Park and we had a really nice afternoon catching up on the rest of their trip and ours since we left them in The Bungles about 5 weeks ago. The grown ups chatted and the kids made potions and cubbies in the nature playground. The kids loved seeing Tili again, especially Pippy as the two girls had struck up a nice friendship when they helped us celebrate Pippy's 10th birthday.
We went back to Rob and Sara's where they are kindly letting us stay while in Perth. Not only having us to stay but spoiling us rotten too! Sara served gourmet pizzas and Mango beer all the way from the brewery we had visited in Broome.
