We checked into our hostel in Noosa (another Nomads hostel) and found out we were in the same room as the two Danish girls we had met in 1770 - awesome! A few hours later, Malin and Mattias, the Swedish couple we met on Fraser Island also checked in. It's nice to see friendly faces and not have to ask all the same questions to new people!
On our first day, we just explored the beautiful town and beach. Noosa is quite upmarket so some of the shops are pretty expensive. There are loads of houses on the river's edge with their own jetty and luxury yacht moored up right outside... I could certainly see myself in one of those!
Pip's flip flops (or 'thongs' as they call them here... snigger) have completely died and both are currently being held together by electrical tape. She is issuing a rescue call to any relatives (or friends) who would like to donate to the 'New Thongs for Pippa' fund. Hahahaha...
We spent the next day at Australia zoo, getting to stroke Kangaroos, Koalas, crocs (just kidding) and see many others. The wombats were the cutest though they didn't dance, even when we sang Waltzing Matilda to them (are you sure you didn't imagine this Pat and Mike?). We also got to see an awesome tiger show and the feeding of the big croc too. We'll get pics and videos up as soon as we can.
Hope the weather is good for you all back home, I'm sure we could spare a couple of degrees if you guys want them?
