Stressful start to the day getting everything together, couldn't take car off road on paper work, sorted out reparking of it though. Just about got together everything I needed.

Got some cafe scran with Abby at the new cafe next to McDonalds, after failing to find somewhere to get a hair cut. Dad joined us a little later, and then met up with the mother at the bus station. After a small initial panic of whether we got the right time or not it was sorted and I was on my way.

The coach trip got us up there in good time, although the driver thought I was going to the main bus station and not terminal 4. Dry your eyes everyone.

Checkin was the easiest ever, after a little wait for it to open. No queues, it was like i had my very own check in desk. May be i was getting ear marked for first class, get in you beaut!

Managed to smuggle through the cheese and onion sandwich through security, hardcore criminal activity! It'll come back to haunt me no doubt, Interpol is probably hot on my tail right now.

Couple of hours waiting to board, just wondered around duty free, pondering whether to get Gen anything, but decided it was probably too forced and last minute to buying anything for her, plus i didn't know what she'd want anyway. A hand break turn and a smokey wheel spin and we were off.

Was sat next to an old indonesian lady on the way to Doha, didn't talk much but wasn't unpleasant being there.

Pretty good entertainment system, but slightly annoying remote control. Watched Mission Impossible 4 and Chronicle. Food was pretty decent, chicken curry with curried mash potato! Nice cous cous mix with yoghurt as well. Onward to the arab island state of Qatar.
